The Journal is our way of staying in touch with you and keeping God's central purpose and theme before you at all times. In addition to my writings we will include thoughts from other people; some you will have heard of, others will be relatively unknown. The criteria for the inclusion of material in this magazine is the same criteria I use to decide whether or not to invest time in reading a book or listening to a message: will this increase Jesus? Will it point me to Christ? Will it bring me into a deeper, more experiential knowledge of Him? Will it actually minister Life to my spirit as opposed to just filling my head with information?

That is a high standard, but in the Information Age it is a necessary one. Out of all the "many things" that cry out to be read, or listened to, or browsed online, we hope the discriminating reader will immediately see the value of having a monthly publication exclusively devoted to the One Thing that is needed. We pray you will experience a deepening of spiritual life as we seek to give Christ the centrality, the supremacy, and the preeminence in this little magazine.
