The writings that make up this book are gleaned from much longer essays which are available on our website. We have arranged them in daily devotional format because, quite frankly, Truth seems to have the greatest impact on people when they digest it a little at the time.

This is NOT a book "for Christians only." Whether you are a new believer, and old disciple, or a generic seeker of truth, Why Do You Call Me Lord? will challenge you to consider a simple relationship with Jesus - without becoming religious.

Everything God has done, is doing, and will do is related towards revealing His Son and bringing us into the full-knowledge (epignosis) of Him. The goal is for Christ to have the preeminence in all things, beginning with us individually as disciples, then with the Church, and finally with all creation, "that He may be All in All."

Jesus said, "I will build My Church [Ekklesia]", and so we know that this Ekklesia is not built by man, it's not organized by man. Man is not the author or the creator of it. Jesus is building His Church, and so, it is a thing that is quite beyond man, quite beyond what man is capable of. The Ekklesia is "from above", something that originates in the Spirit and by the Spirit. And so it is spiritual.

This collection of letters were originally written by Chip to individual brothers and sisters over a course of several years. Although not originally written with the intention of making them public, they are offered here for your encouragement because we believe the entire Body of Christ can benefit from what is said.
